The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is excited to invite pet owners to a FREE pet microchipping event in partnership with Harrison Township. This easy, drive-thru event offers a vital way to protect your beloved dogs and cats — and it could be the key to bringing them safely home if they ever get lost.
Event Details:
When: Friday, August 15 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Where: Fire Station 94, 2400 Turner Road, Dayton, OH
Format: Convenient drive-thru — no appointment needed!
This event is open to all pet owners, regardless of where you live. There’s no cost and no limit on the number of pets you can bring. Every microchip comes with free lifetime registration through Fi Nano chips, giving you ongoing peace of mind.
Microchipping is a quick, simple, and minimally invasive procedure that acts like a permanent ID for your pet. If your furry friend ever goes missing, a microchip greatly increases the chance of a safe and speedy reunion. It’s one of the most important steps you can take to keep your pet safe.
Please note:
- Dogs should be on leashes
- Cats should be in carriers for their safety
“Serving the people and pets in our community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Brian Weltge, President & CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. “By partnering with Harrison Township to offer this free microchipping event, we are making it easier for pet owners to protect their animals and ensure they can be reunited quickly if they ever get lost.”
