This gorgeous, speckled girl is Lorna. She unfortunately was found abandoned, tied up outside of the shelter. We recognized right away that she had recently had puppies and reached out to the community to help us reunite them! Luckily, with the community's help we found her puppies and brought them back together! Her puppies got adopted a long time ago and now Lorna is ready to find her forever home. She is our longest resident dog in the shelter and we don't know why! She is one of the only dogs in our kennel that will sit quietly as people come by. She is such a sweet girl and loves getting pets and giving you kisses in return. She is a well-mannered girl who sometimes likes to get a little silly and playful and loves toys. She has been going to training classes through Dayton Dog Training Club and is always doing well and picking up new skills. She would make a great addition to almost any home. Since we don't know much about her past, we recommend she meet any potential "dog siblings" before going home with them, but she may do best as the only dog in the home. If you think this gorgeous lady would be the perfect addition to your heart and home, fill out and send in an adoption application to adoptions@hsdayton.org so our staff can review it, and if approved, we will contact you about setting up a time to meet with Lorna!
