Donation Box Program

The Donation Box Program is one of the organization’s largest ongoing fundraisers. Last year alone, it raised nearly $10,000 to help the animals in need at our shelter.

How You Can Help

Just how powerful is the small change dropped into the Donation Box?

If every donation box collected $25 monthly from the Donation Boxes, we could raise more than $30,000 to support the Humane Society of Greater Dayton animals in our community.

A full Donation Box could give a pet immunizations, spay/neuter surgery, and a microchip. The pet will be healthy and ready to go home with their new forever family.

A full Donation Box could provide a pet with a dental screening in a Rascal Unit Care Mobile.

Show your support when you see a Donation Box at a local business by dropping in your spare change. Spread the word and suggest to your friends and family that they do the same.

How to Get Involved

Are you a business with a little extra counter space? Contact us to add a small donation box to your area. We have a designated volunteer who will work directly with you to monitor the box, collect donations, and maintain the box. All you have to do is encourage people to drop their spare change inside!
