Clear the Shelters – Name Your Own Price Adoption Special

August 1 @ 12:00 pm - August 31 @ 6:00 pm

Join us for this NAME YOUR OWN PRICE Adoption Special in conjunction with WDTN-TV!

How You Can Save While Adopting a Pet

All animals participating in the Name Your Own Price event will be available for a price of your choosing. However, the cost can be no less than 50 percent off the regular adoption cost.

How to Welcome a Pet into Your Home
1. Visit www.hsdayton.org/adopt to find a pet that you like

2. Fill out an adoption application. If the animal is located at our main shelter, email your application to adoptions@hsdayton.org. If the cat you are interested in is at the MeowZa Cat Boutique you can go their directly or email you application to meowza@hsdayton.org. Please make sure to specify the name of which cat or kitten you are interested in adopting

Due to COVID-19, all adoptions at our main shelter are done by appointment only. You will NOT be permitted to come to the main shelter and meet multiple animals. Due to the MeowZa Cat Boutique being located inside the Dayton Mall, it is open to the public, but we are limiting the number of people inside the store at one given time. For the safety of you, our staff and our animals we must limit the number of people in our shelter as well as the number of interactions our pets have with community members.

To be fair, our adoption counselors review applications in the order they are received. The first application that is approved will be the first permitted to adopt. We do continue to accept and review application in case an approved application falls through.
