Humane Society of Greater Dayton (HSGD) is expanding! We are happy to announce an 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art veterinary facility and a new 8,000 square foot humane facility. Our ability to help the animals of our community is about to increase exponentially!

Our range of services will include our traditional offerings of:

  • High volume spay/neuter for community animals and private owners
  • Humane abuse and neglect cases including equine, farm animals, pockets pets and of course dogs and cats
  • Wellness and treatment for all adoptable and foster pets in our care

A wide range of new services for our adoptable pets and a need-based veterinary practice for the public

  • Wellness appointments 5 days a week
  • Full service veterinary care in our needs-based clinic
  • Soft tissue surgery with full patient warming and monitoring
  • Digital X-ray
  • Dental cleaning and extractions with dental X-ray
  • In-house chemistry, CBC and urinalysis analyzers
  • Idexx reference lab
  • Comprehensive in house pharmacy plus access to online and compounding pharmacies

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Two years’ experience, but new graduates will be considered
  • Hold a current Ohio veterinary license
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Strong commitment to time management
