After six months in our shelter, we're overjoyed t After six months in our shelter, we're overjoyed to share that Zinger has finally found his forever home! ❤️ Zinger came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding case where he had been living in neglect and unsafe conditions. He was the only dog rescued from the case, alongside more than 30 cats and an opossum. One by one, the cats found loving homes. The opossum was successfully rehabilitated and released back into the wild. Through it all, Zinger patiently waited, watching families come and go while hoping his day would come. And recently, it finally did. This is why we never stop believing in our long-term residents. Sometimes the perfect match takes a little longer to find, but it is always worth the wait. Happy tails, sweet boy. After everything you've been through, we're so grateful you've finally found the safe, loving home you always deserved. We hope your days are now filled with soft beds, endless love, and all the happiness that comes with being home. Thank you to everyone who shared Zinger's story, cheered him on, and believed his family was out there. But she is a gentle, loving soul who deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. ❤️ Lil Mama came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her, and while she never asked for this change, she has handled it with such a sweet spirit. She’s been with us for a while now, quietly waiting for the person who sees her and says, “That’s my girl.” Lil Mama can be a little unsure when meeting new people and may shy away from head pets. She likes to take her time and get comfortable, but once she trusts you, she’ll happily accept some belly rubs! She enjoys a nice, easy walk, a cozy spot to relax, and the simple things that make a dog feel at home. She has lived enough life to know that love, patience, and a comfy bed are some of the best things in the world. Lil Mama just needs someone who will give her the chance to be loved, spoiled, and cherished for the rest of her days. Not every happy ending follows the path we expect, Not every happy ending follows the path we expect, but somehow Whisper's story led her exactly where she was meant to be. ❤️ A few weeks ago, we shared that Whisper had gotten loose during a Doggie Day Out. Frightened and on her own, she spent two weeks on the run, even surviving a close encounter with a coyote. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Kylie Shafer,Eye In The Sky - Drone Animal Recovery, and so many community members who kept an eye out and reported sightings, we were able to bring her safely back. Before Whisper went missing, someone had submitted an adoption application and planned to come meet her. When her profile disappeared from our website while she was missing, they assumed she had already been adopted. After Whisper was safely back with us, her profile returned to our website. Before we even had a chance to reach out, her future adopter was browsing our available pets, spotted her profile again, and immediately came in to meet her. The rest is history. Whisper's new family understands that she'll need time, patience, and a secure leash as she settles into her new life. They've already updated her microchip information and are committed to keeping her safe for all the adventures ahead, the kind she gets to share with her family and not on the run. Whisper may never know how many people were rooting for her or how many came together to help bring her home. But because of this incredible community and one adopter who never forgot about her, she gets the fresh start she deserves. Congrats Whisper!
