Stop by, say hi, and maybe even take one home 💛 Meet Elle Elle is the total package. She’s house trained, does great with cats, dogs, and kids, and brings the perfect mix of sweet and playful energy. She’s always ready for fun and yes… the zoomies are very much included. Meet Chippy Chippy does well with other dogs and is a gentle girl who just needs a little time to warm up. Once she feels comfortable, you’ll start to see her sweet personality shine through. Both are here today at the front desk, so this is your chance to meet them without an appointment. If you missed your chance to meet him last week when he stopped by, now’s your chance 💛 Hammy is here today as part of our foster pet pop-in, so this is your chance to meet him without an appointment. He’s also officially back from foster and will be staying with us in the kennels, so even if you don’t make it in today, you’ll still have more chances to stop by and meet him. This 6-month-old tripod pup may only have three legs, but he hasn’t let that slow him down for a second. Hammy keeps up with all the fun, all the zoomies, and all the excitement like it’s no big deal… because to him, it isn’t. He’s playful, happy, and completely unbothered by the fact that he does life a little differently. If anything, it just makes him that much more special. Last week we had an incredible group from LexisNex Last week we had an incredible group from LexisNexis volunteer with us, and we are so grateful for the time and support they gave to help keep our shelter clean and our animals well cared for. While posing for their group photo, a sweet dog named Stormie was brought out to meet and thank the team for their hard work. For most, it was a meaningful moment capturing a day of teamwork, support, and love, but for one volunteer, it became the start of a connection she just couldn’t shake. After the group left for the day, Stormie stayed on that volunteer's mind. She couldn’t stop thinking about her… she came back later with her family to see Stormie again. but this time, Stormie got to go home! Sometimes a simple act of kindness can turn into a forever home for a shelter animal. A big thank you to the LexisNexis group for supporting our mission and showing up for the animals in our care.
