Need to get your dog microchipped? Stop by Furry S Need to get your dog microchipped? Stop by Furry Skurry this Saturday at St. Leonard! Our Dayton Humane team will be microchipping dogs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. during the event. We ask for just a small recommended donation of $5. This service is for dogs only, as Furry Skurry has many dogs attending in a large outdoor event space, and we want to ensure the safety of all animals. Meet Cookie 🍪 This sweet girl is as soft and comf Meet Cookie 🍪 This sweet girl is as soft and comforting as her name suggests. Cookie is the kind of cat who turns into a total cuddle bug once she knows you, happily curling up beside you and soaking in all the love you have to give. When meeting new people, Cookie can be a little shy and unsure at first. But give her a little time, a calm space, and maybe a few Tuna Churu treats, and you’ll quickly see her true personality shine. Once you earn Cookie’s trust, you’re in her heart for life. Cookie came to us as a stray and had clearly been through a lot. Her teeth were in very rough shape and causing her pain, so our veterinary team made the decision to remove what remained and give her a fresh, comfortable start. Now this adorable girl is completely toothless and finally pain-free, and honestly? It doesn’t slow her down one bit. Because of this, Cookie will need to stay on a soft food diet, which she is more than happy about. In Cookie’s opinion, wet food every day is less of a medical need and more of a luxury lifestyle.
