Meet Padre and Oakland! 🐾💙 These sweet kittens ca Meet Padre and Oakland! 🐾💙 These sweet kittens came to us as bottle babies back in August and are now nearly 6 months old. They’ve been patiently waiting for their forever home but keep getting overlooked because they are FIV positive. FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, affects a cat’s immune system. Cats with FIV may get colds or other minor illnesses a little more often than other cats, but with regular vet care and a safe, low-stress home, they can live long, happy, full lives. Oakland (female, black) and Padre (black and white) are best buddies. Padre is confident and outgoing, always ready to explore and play, while Oakland is a little more cautious and takes her time to feel safe. Together, they spend their days chasing toys, wrestling, and keeping each other entertained. These two cuties would love a forever home together, where they can continue being playful partners in crime and fill your days with joy. They came to us far too skinny, but look at them n They came to us far too skinny, but look at them now! 🐶💛 Falcon, Eagle, and Phoenix, our sweet beagle mixes, arrived severely underweight and in need of careful, consistent care. Thanks to proper nutrition, close monitoring, and lots of love, they have made incredible progress and are feeling better every day. While they still have a little more weight to gain, our vet team has officially cleared them for adoption! In just three weeks, these boys have made amazing strides, and we are so proud of how far they have come. A big thank you to their dedicated fosters for helping support their recovery along the way! Honestly, we don’t get it, he’s a fantastic little guy who deserves a forever home! 😼 This back-flopper, feather-chaser, snack-connoisseur has it all. He’s not a big cuddler, but when he decides you’re worthy of pets and flops next to you, it feels like hitting the jackpot. 🎰💖 Waylon’s foster home has a guinea pig roommate, and Waylon is completely chill about it. When Levi first came to us through our Humane Soci When Levi first came to us through our Humane Society Agent, he was skinny, scared, and unsure of what the future held. In just a few short months, with consistent care, patience, and love, Levi has made an incredible recovery and truly looks like a completely different dog. His body has filled out, his eyes are brighter, and his gentle personality shines through. 💕 Recently, Levi visited @hidden_springs_of_springboro as part of our Pet Therapy Program, and everyone absolutely loved how sweet and gentle he was. Watching a dog who once knew hardship now bring comfort and smiles to seniors is incredibly special. 🐾💛 We are so grateful for community partners like Hidden Springs who help us share the love and comfort animals bring. Through our Pet Therapy Program, we’re proud to create those positive connections right here in the Dayton area while also helping shelter dogs gain confidence and socialization outside the shelter.
