Yes. Did he see something so unspeakable he immediately logged off forever? Also yes. Sometimes he just sits there… like he’s remembering the exact moment the timeline split. Other times, he looks at you like he knows your future… and it involves opening a can of wet cat food. We’ve got another great week of foster pet pop-ins We’ve got another great week of foster pet pop-ins, and this lineup is packed with personality 🐾 If you’ve been waiting for a chance to meet some of our foster dogs without an appointment, here is your opportunity to stop by and say hello at the front desk: ✨ Tuesday 5/5: Don Gerald American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | 3Y | 85.5 lbs Don Gerald is the total package. He is good with cats, dogs, and kids, walks well on a leash, and is already housetrained. A big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. ✨ Wednesday 5/6: Chippy Chihuahua / Dachshund mix | Female | 5Y | 10.4 lbs Chippy is a gentle, shy little soul who does well with other small dogs. She takes her time warming up, but once she trusts you, it is worth every second of patience. ✨ Thursday 5/7: Bagel Beagle | Male | 3Y | 40 lbs Bagel is the definition of chill. He is great with dogs and kids and fully committed to the art of snuggling. ✨ Friday 5/8: Elle Jack Russell Terrier mix | Female | 3Y | 31.5 lbs Elle is sweet, energetic, and playful. She does great with cats, dogs, and kids, is housetrained, and loves to keep life fun and full of zoomies. Some goodbyes are the kind that make everyone cry Some goodbyes are the kind that make everyone cry happy tears. 🥹 A few days ago, our long-term resident Eeyore was officially adopted! After his first night home, they sent us this update: “You won’t believe how smoothly his first night is going! I was a little nervous, but he’s truly made himself right at home. We’re currently having the most adorable, cozy evening imaginable. He’s all snuggled up in bed right next to me, completely ignoring the TV. It’s such a sweet sight to see him so relaxed and comfortable already!” We could not love this more. Despite his age, medical needs, and a difficult past, Eeyore’s story did not end at the shelter. It began again. This is why we never give up on the long stay pets, the seniors, and the ones who need a little extra care. Sometimes the best endings just take a little longer.
