Eeyore, our nearly 9-year-old senior, got a break Eeyore, our nearly 9-year-old senior, got a break from the shelter and went to foster yesterday! This sweet old man has the calm confidence of someone who’s seen it all. He’s active and curious, yet respectful. He waits his turn, explores carefully, and doesn’t touch what’s not his. Mentally sharp and observant, Eeyore carries himself with the wisdom of an elder but the poise and strength of a lifelong athlete. He’s friendly with humans but takes a little time to warm up, and he’s completely quiet at a ringing doorbell. He’s managing a skin condition, which seems to be clearing, and while he can’t live with other pets due to a high prey drive, that just means more devoted attention for his future forever family. This noble boy is proof that seniors can still steal hearts, and we know the perfect forever home is out there for him. For now, they are receiving round the clock care from our amazing foster families, who are helping them grow strong, stay warm, and get the nutrition they need during these critical early weeks.
