By partnering with our friends at the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center, we’re helping Theodore get seen by new faces and increasing his chances of finding the perfect family. While Theodore is a mix breed, sometimes we swear he’s part pig! 🐷 Those playful snorts you hear, that’s just him letting the world know he’s happy and feeling silly. He’s full of energy and personality, whether he’s rolling around with his favorite toys, giving giant, sloppy kisses, or curling up next to you for a long snuggle session, Theodore knows how to make life fun. This sweet guy is right on the edge of his golden years, gentle, curious, and eager to please. He follows you around like your devoted little shadow, ready to be by your side for walks, adventures, or quiet couch time. This Thanksgiving, we are celebrating a milestone This Thanksgiving, we are celebrating a milestone that shows just how incredible our community is. So far this year, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton has surpassed an astounding 205,000 foster hours—the highest number in our organization’s history. These hours represent families who opened their homes to animals in need, providing love, care, and socialization that prepare animals for adoption. Because of this commitment, 1,441 animals have already gone through our foster program this year. Every foster home doubles its impact: not only does it give an animal a safe place to heal and grow, but it also frees up space in our shelter so we can bring in even more pets who need our help. This is what community looks like. This is how lives are saved. As we reflect on what we’re grateful for this season, we are especially thankful for every foster who has played a part in this record-breaking year.
