Our hearts are incredibly full! ❤️ Kathy and her Our hearts are incredibly full! ❤️ Kathy and her cousin once again showed up for our shelter animals in a HUGE way, donating an incredible amount of supplies in memory of Kathy’s brother, Bret. 🐾 This isn’t the first time they’ve filled our shelter with much-needed supplies, and we truly struggle to put into words how much their continued generosity means to us. Every bag, box and item they bring helps us care for animals who are waiting for their own second chances. But what makes these donations even more meaningful is the love behind them. Bret’s memory continues to make a difference for so many animals, and we feel incredibly honored to be part of the way Kathy and her family choose to celebrate and remember him. ❤️ Kathy, thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. Today is the day to meet so many adoptable pups at Today is the day to meet so many adoptable pups at Waldrue Park in Miamisburg! On Saturday, September 19th from 11am-3pm, HSGD will be set up with our friends from SICSA and Montgomery County Animal Resource Center with one goal in mind - to find forever homes for dozens of dogs! Thanks to WilmerHale Law Firm for hosting this annual community event. Check out just a couple of the adorable puppies looking for homes below. Mahogany has been stuck on the sidelines for a whi Mahogany has been stuck on the sidelines for a while, but this big guy is FINALLY back in the game and looking for a forever home! 🏈🤎 Mahogany has been with us since April. He was brought in by our Humane Society Agent due to a neglectful situation. Then, a back injury put his adoption plans on hold while he rested, recovered, and got some pretty fancy specialist care. He may still need a little time before he’s back to 100%, but Mahogany is feeling SO much better and his personality is back in full force. ❤️ And this guy is FUN. He loves toys, enrichment, walks, and having something to keep that big brain busy. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once you earn his trust, you’ve got yourself one seriously devoted teammate. Mahogany has spent long enough watching from the sidelines.
