A hurricane may have changed their path, but Chopp A hurricane may have changed their path, but Chopper and Nibblet are getting a chance at a fresh start! These two dogs were displaced by the hurricane that hit the South this past weekend, and the Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be part of the effort to help them and other animals affected by the storm. Working alongside @bestfriendsanimalsociety , @sicsa and other animal welfare partners, we welcomed Chopper and Nibblet into our care to help ease the strain on shelters responding to the crisis. We are able to provide Chopper and Nibblet the individualized care, comfort and attention they deserve. The good news? Both pups are doing wonderful and adjusting well to their new surroundings! We look forward to helping them prepare for adoption and finding the loving forever homes they deserve. They should be available soon, so keep an eye out for updates! When animals are displaced by disaster, collaboration makes an incredible difference. By working together and stepping up when additional help is needed, animal welfare organizations can reach more pets, support one another and give more animals a path toward a brighter future. Welcome to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, Chopper and Nibblet. Your next chapter starts here!
Looking for a working cat? We have just the cat fo Looking for a working cat? We have just the cat for the job! Some cats prefer life outside a traditional home, and our working cat program helps them find the perfect place to thrive. Working cats are great for factories, warehouses, barns, greenhouses, and other outdoor spaces, natural pest control, and a second chance for cats who need a different kind of home! Our working cats are spayed or neutered and microchipped. Adopters provide food, water, shelter, and veterinary care to keep their new coworkers safe and healthy. Ready to add a furry coworker to your team? Learn more about working cat adoption through the Humane Society of Greater Dayton!
