Grey Muzzle Success Story! 🐾💛 Scooby’s jo Grey Muzzle Success Story! 🐾💛 Scooby’s journey shows that age is just a number when it comes to love and second chances. This lovable 13-year-old came to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton after being picked up by our humane agent as a stray. When he arrived, Scooby was dealing with dry, flaky skin, scabbing, and significant hair loss. Our team at the Dayton Humane Veterinary Hospital provided the specialized care he needed to heal and feel comfortable again. While the fur on his back never fully grew back, it didn’t affect his heart or spirit. Sadly, it did affect how others saw him. Because he was an older dog with visible imperfections, Scooby was often overlooked and became a long-term resident at the shelter. Despite watching other dogs get adopted before him, Scooby never stopped showing love. His playful personality, gentle nature, and endless affection won over everyone who spent time with him. After nearly half a year in our care, Scooby finally found his forever family! 🏡❤️ Now, this sweet senior is living his golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and belly rubs.
