Dayton Humane & Co. Brings Purposeful Shopping to the Miami Valley

By: The Humane Society of Greater Dayton

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Dayton Humane & Co., a luxury resale boutique designed to combine affordable, curated shopping with a mission to make a difference.

Projected to open in March 2025, the store will be located in the former Marshall’s storefront at Cross Pointe Shopping Center in Centerville. It will feature clothing and accessories to furniture and home décor. This one-of-a-kind boutique offers an upscale shopping experience while supporting the lifesaving programs and services that the Humane Society of Greater Dayton provides for the community.

Unlike traditional resale stores, Dayton Humane & Co. blends style, sustainability, and purpose. Each item sold—from clothing and accessories to furniture and home décor—is carefully curated to create a boutique-like atmosphere. Best of all, 100% of the profits are reinvested into supporting the Humane Society of Greater Dayton’s programs, including animal rescues, community outreach, cruelty and neglect investigations, spay and neuter services and veterinary care along with other initiatives that make a lasting impact on the pets and people in the Miami Valley.

“Dayton Humane & Co. isn’t just a store—it’s a movement to shop with purpose,” said Brian Weltge, President and CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. “By offering high-end items in a stylish setting, we’re elevating the resale experience while funding programs that save lives and strengthen our community. It’s shopping that truly makes a difference.”
