Humanely and Effectively Addressing Overpopulation
Tens of thousands of animals are roaming the streets in our communities right now. Without proper management, they will continue to reproduce and add to an already out-of-control situation. Euthanasia is not the answer. Spaying and neutering is an effective and humane way to address the problem while lowering the number of strays.
How Pet Owners Can Help
Through our high-volume Dayton Humane Spay & Neuter Clinic, we provide low-cost surgeries to owned animals within our community. Schedule an appointment today to get your pet spayed or neutered with us! Call us now at (937) 965-4400 or fill out the form at the link below.
Not only will this help your pet live a longer and healthier life, but it will support our efforts in lowering the number of unwanted litters. We currently spay and neuter owned cats, dogs and rabbits.

Community Cat Initiative
As part of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton’s Community Cat Initiative, we partner with individuals, townships, and cities to provide free or low-cost spay and neuter services to community members helping us with Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Through the program, we provide training, trap rentals, and medical care to anyone interested in helping reduce cat overpopulation.
