BUT WE’RE NOT DONE YET. 💚 To everyone who has opened your home, rearranged your schedule, shared our posts, donated, or simply supported these dogs through this difficult situation — thank you. You have made an incredible difference. And we’re already seeing that difference. 🐾 The dogs who have made their way into foster homes are beginning to decompress, feel less scared and settle into a new life filled with love, safety and care. For dogs who have experienced so much uncertainty, having a quiet place to rest, a soft bed, a full belly and someone showing them kindness can change everything. We’re also incredibly grateful for the animal welfare organizations standing beside us. @humaneworldforanimals and @sicsa are working with us to help provide care and placement for several of these dogs. This is what community looks like — organizations coming together to make sure more animals get the help they need. But the work isn’t over. We are bursting at the seams, and we still need more foster homes. Maybe you’re thinking, “I can only help one dog.” One dog is exactly where it starts. ❤️ One foster home means one more dog has a safe place to decompress, heal and discover what life can look like when they are loved and cared for.
