Furry Skurry 5K
The Furry Skurry 5K is a fun-filled day for runners, walkers, and pet lovers! The 32nd annual event will be held on May 18, 2024. This event is the largest animal event in the Miami Valley! It has also been voted as the Best Charitable Race for more than six years as well as Best Festival by Dayton Magazine!
Fore Paws Golf Classic
Who knew a day of fun on the golf course could have such an impact on animals? Through our Fore Paws Golf Classic, you will be able to enjoy a day of golf in support of the homeless animals currently at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, patiently waiting for their forever homes! This year’s event will be heldΒ on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the NCR Country Club!
Pet Afflaire Gala
Pet Afflaire is a special night, unlike any other! Imagine a room filled with 350+ people and 150+ animals ranging from dogs, cats, rabbits, and even a bearded dragon or a pot-belly pig! This gala dinner (with your pets) is definitely a one-of-a-kind evening and has been named one of the top three galas in Dayton by Dayton.com. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Dayton Arcade.
The Epic Pet Give-a-Thon
Every year, the Humane Society of Greater Dayton partners with Dayton 24/7 Now for a one-day telethon to raise funds to support the animals in the Miami Valley! Donations go directly to the animals in our care and helps us be the voice for the voiceless. Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 8, 2024, as we plan to come together and be EPIC for the animals who need us!
