Leash up your dogs and join us this Spring for our annual 5K Walk/Run (with a 1-mile walk to follow). Located at Eastwood MetroPark, this event brings out hundreds of people and pets to kick off spring with a bang! Activities include a pancake breakfast, food truck rally, flea(less) market, parade of pets, raffles and prizes, contests, kid zone and so much more! It is a day you won't want to miss!
What better way is there to spend a day than on the golf course? Dust off those golf clubs and get your team ready for a day of fun in the sun while helping animals in need all at the same time! Held at Yankee Trace Golf Club, this event is a great way for golfers to get some time on the green, win some raffle prizes and help the Humane Society!
Show off your pets and have a relaxing dinner with your friends during our annual Pet Afflaire event. This evening includes a delicious dinner, entertainment, pictures with your pets, live and silent auctions, special appetizers for your pets, cocktails, raffles and much more! How it works
· 20 PAWS Up members will help plan, coordinate and execute the Humane Society of Greater Dayton’s two largest
fundraising events, Furry Skurry & Furry Fest and Pet Afflaire
· PAWS Up committee will meet 9 times for each of the two events
· Two year commitment is required (calendar year)
· PAWS Up members will assist with both fundraising events
· Members that play a larger role in one event can take a smaller role in the other event
· All prospective members will be required to fill out a membership application, which will be reviewed and approved by
