Help Pogo Bounce Back!
An Accident Leads to Surgery
Pogo is an 8-month-old hound with boundless energy and an unbreakable spirit. Transferred to us from another shelter in October, Pogo quickly won our hearts with his playful antics. Unfortunately, during an intense play session, Pogo broke his leg. His energy and zest for life have made healing difficult, and despite our efforts to stabilize the injury, he needs a specialized orthopedic surgery to fully recover.
How You Can Help Pogo
On January 9th, Pogo will undergo surgery to have a plate placed in his leg. This procedure is crucial to help stabilize his leg and ensure proper healing. The surgery, along with post-operative care, is estimated to cost around $2,000. With your help, we can give Pogo the care he needs to heal and return to the happy, energetic puppy we all adore.
