Tour Our Shelter

We love opening our doors to individuals, groups, and organizations who want to learn more about the programs and services we provide for our community here at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.

We welcome small groups to tour our facility Tuesday through Friday. The cost to have a tour is free. With a tour, you can expect to:

  • See a lively presentation of our history and goals.
  • Introduce yourself to our animals. (Yes, you get to pet them!)
  • Get expert advice on topics like dealing with stray animals and bite prevention.
  • Provide an age-appropriate talk and activity with advanced notice, and we can reserve time for a question-and-answer session.

Schedule a Tour Today

Please schedule your tour at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability and allow time for program preparation. A representative of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton will contact you directly to confirm your tour date and time.
