Cassius has been catching his breath in a foster h Cassius has been catching his breath in a foster home… and it’s making all the difference! 💛 After everything he went through, losing the only home he’s ever known and struggling hard in the shelter environment, Cassius was really shutting down. The noise, the chaos, the constant stress… it was too much for a senior dog who just wanted peace. But one of our amazing fosters took him in, and slowly, we started seeing him come back. Cassius is a 7 year old boxer mix, and he is a sensitive guy. New people can make him unsure and want to hide away. But once he feels safe, his true personality starts to show again. He is gentle, he walks beautifully on leash, and he leans in for comfort like he is remembering what it feels like to trust again. He is learning that the world does not always have to feel overwhelming. He is still figuring things out, but he is trying. And that matters. He is potty trained, has lived with children, and continues to show that underneath the fear is a calm, loving dog who just needs patience and a peaceful home to land in.
