Zazu had a dooggy day out and yes, his emotional s Zazu had a dooggy day out and yes, his emotional support bowl came along! 🐾 This blocky-headed goofball spent the day sliding his metal bowl all over the park like it was a new sport. Other toys were available, but let’s be honest, the bowl was way more fun. Cheeks flapping in the wind, zoomies, snack breaks, and of course, a big nap on the ride back to the shelter. 😴 A huge thanks to Folded Ear Dog Park for letting Zazu enjoy some time out of the kennel and to our dedicated volunteer who makes these adventures possible. Zazu is a 5.5-year-old American Bulldog mix who’s ready for a forever home where he can keep being his silly, bowl-obsessed self. This sweet senior gal might be a little head shy at first, but give her a moment (and maybe a treat or two 😉), and you’ll quickly discover her true love language… BELLY RUBS. Lots of them. All of them. Behind the scenes, we saw her really start to shine. She slowly warmed up to Grace, and once she felt safe, her sweet, affectionate personality came right out. It’s a beautiful reminder that Lil’ Mama just needs a little patience and a lot of love to truly blossom. Lil’ Mama is calm, gentle, and full of love. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be by your side whether you’re going for a relaxing walk, hopping in the car for a ride, or settling in for a cozy night at home. She walks nicely on a leash, enjoys her daily strolls, and still has plenty of pep in her step for adventures at her own pace. She gets along well with other dogs and we think she’d do great with kids too (as always, we recommend meet and greets to make sure everyone is the perfect match).
